This Project was done as part of Digipen's Game Feel module. Basis of this menu was meant to be for a fantasy open world game with magic as a core component of the game.

Conceptualizing a World of Magic

The goal for this project was to provide a feel for the world of magic, while at the same time, roaming around the room as if you were in there.

 

Moving items on cardboards, interacting with the magic circle, and etc. all leads to certain feedback or selections within the menu.

Creating a Dynamic Menu

Instead of creating a menu, with button options, I decided to explore more of a dynamic menu, in attempts to give a feel of fantasy and immerse the player in the world.
